Synopsis
When Hashim and Zainat immigrated from Tanzania to a small city named Hopeland in Massachusetts, their goal was to build an infrastructure for their future kids. They didn’t expect that their “future kids”, Amina, Rajab, and Zulfiqar would have their own interests.

Bio
Zul Manzi is a 23-year-old comedian,content producer, and animator born and raised in Springfield, MA. In 2019, Zul began production with his animated series,”The Matumbilas” by gardening material from his stand-up comedy sets. He gained inspiration for The Matumbilas from his Tanzanian community, family, and being called “Zoboomafoo” because students couldn’t pronounce his full name, Zulfiqar. Zul also loves Halal Fast Food, especially gyros.
